TalentzXchange (T.Ex)

<aside> 👉🏻 I led redesign of T.Ex's job form feature, making it easier for recruiters to post requirements during hiring.

This led to a 30% increase in user satisfaction and a 20% reduction in processing time.

Context

T.Ex is a social app helping artists find their ideal roles and helps recruiters connect with the perfect talent. T.Ex allows recruiters like Producers, Directors, Casting Agencies or anyone eager to collaborate with artists to post a job and also enables artists to showcase their talent to get hired, saving time and making the auditioning process a breeze like.

The Problem

We framed above problem statement after receiving feedback from over 50% of users who found the form too long and complex.

Goals

In order to simplify the form and create a frustration-free experience for users, I set following goals during my design process:

  1. How might we simplify content on each screen?
  2. How do we identify necessary fields and remove unnecessary ones?
  3. How might we make the feature more intuitive & easy to use?

Solution


The Design Process

My design process started with defining the problem presented to me with user feedback and followed as shown below to dive deep into root cause of the problem before coming up with the solution.
